Vases

Vases with limescale deposits cause cut flowers to wilt more quickly, and limescale is also a fertile breeding ground for bacteria that can contaminate the plant water. Depending on the amount of limescale, the vase should be filled with a diluted or undiluted descaler such as durgol universal bio until the limescale is covered. Leave to soak for up to an hour and then rinse thoroughly with cold water.

durgol forte is ideally suited for removing unsightly limescale deposits. Important: Before cleaning, soak the pot in cold water (e.g. in a large container or in a rain barrel). Prepare 1 litre of descaling solution consisting of 1 part durgol forte and 3 parts water. Soak a cloth in the descaling solution and place it on the area to be descaled for approx. 5 minutes. Repeat the process until the pot is free of limescale. Then rinse the pot thoroughly with cold water. Caution: Do not descale an acid-sensitive surface (e.g. marble).

Limescale quickly collects on surfaces that are exposed to the elements. This calls for an extra-powerful descaling pro. We recommend durgol forte: first, wet any joints and highly absorbent boards with cold water. Dilute the descaler with water (1:3), apply evenly with a brush and leave to act for 5 minutes. Scrub the surface thoroughly and then rinse immediately with plenty of cold water. Attention: Do not use durgol forte on marble surfaces.
